Ziqi XIE (she/her/hers) is a sociocultural anthropologist from China. My specialization in medical and psychological anthropology leads to ethnographic research on reproduction, kinship, biomedical technologies, and population policy. Currently a PhD candidate in anthropology at Boston University, her research focuses on how the growing prominence of assisted reproductive technologies intersects with the state’s population and reproductive governance.
